Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Having a low sperm count decreases the odds that a man's sperm will fertilize a woman's egg, resulting in pregnancy. Nonetheless, many men who have a low sperm count are still able to father a child. Some treatments for this are surgery, hormonal replacement or medication. It’s important for him to discuss his treatment options with his doctor. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
