I had sex three months ago, and I have had two periiods since. I have a period two weeks after I lost my virginity, and then another one a month later, that one was exceptionally heavy. But this month I have not. Well not yet. It was due this week but they aren't 100% regular cause I'm only 16. Do you think I could be pregnant. I am so worried because if I am I'd be like 3 months pregnant. and I've just started my a levels so I'm stressing about them too. But if I go to doctors its hard to get to them because I live in a village in countryside with no shops. I'm stressing so much. Can any of you offer me some help or advice? Thank you.

Hello Anonymous,

Have you had unprotected intercourse since your last period in June?

The move to a new country, especially if you are now living in a different time zone, can be the reason for the delay in the start of your period.

I had protected sex on 3-4th of June and got my period on 4th itself but this month I am late for my period for almost 2 weeks. Could this mean I am pregnant?4 days back I thought I was having periods but it was only 1-2 drops I bled. And on having medicine as suggested by doctor for missed period today afternoon I got some bleeding that had wet half of my sanitary pad but the bleeding has stopped again. Does this mean I am pregnant?

Hello Anonymous,

Since you have contacted your physician, who suggested a medication, please reach out to that physician again. I don't know what this medication is but the doctor does. If necessary a blood pregnancy test can be done.

Hi! I'm 17 and I had protected sex in April which was three months ago. So I had my period in April and again in May and again in June. BUT in July I haven't gotten my period yet and I'm 5 days late. I'm very worried because I have weird stomach pain and hip pains. my nipples were sore for a week I've had three periods since sex but I'm just so nervous every because I'm so young and I'm not used to being this late for a period

Hello Anonymous,

Pregnancy would be a reason if you had unprotected intercourse since your last period. Other factors, such as a hormonal imbalance, high stress, significant increase in physical exercise or dramatic change in weight can cause a missed period.

Hello Anonymous,

You would not be pregnant if you had a period. However, if you think this period was unusual, you could always take a home pregnancy test.
