Okay...I'm worried. My last period was from the Sept 28- 1st of October. On the 4th My boyfriend rubbed his penis around my asshole..he said i needed to whip myself because he thought that something slid into my vagina..I took the next choice on the 5th. I bleed from the 9th to the 12th...was that my period? because I haven't had any other signs of a "period" since the 12th..

Hi Breezy646,

Yes, bleeding is a normal side effect of any emergency pill.  After taking an emergency pill, it will cause changes on your next period. Some times a shorter or longer, heavier or lighter period.

Some of the side effects of an emergency pill are breast pain, tenderness, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain and many more.

Hi Breezy646,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Most women, experience an earlier period after taking next choice.  That might had been your period.  If you are still concerned, you might want to take a pregnancy test,
