Q:

Can you get pregnant if you've missed birth control pills a couple times?

So I've been taking birth control contraceptives (ORTHO-CEPT) but have missed the pills a couple days or so (not consecutively) but take the missed pill the next day. I haven't had sex for about 3.5 months but had unprotected sex yesterday, my boyfriend didn't pull out fast enough and came in me a bit. I'm debating on whether or not I should take the PLAN B pill. Also what are my chances of getting pregnant?

As what I read in the box of any contraceptive pill, if you consecutively missed taking it, and you had sex, chances of getting pregnant are relatively high. I agree that you immediately see your OB-Gyne for some precautionary measures.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Anytime you have unprotected sex, your chances for pregnancy are higher.  You need to ask your doctor if you can take Plan B pill.
