Can you get pregnant this way?

Hello so my boyfriends friend gave him a few condoms last week. My boyfriend came over and showed it to me. I wasn't planning on using it. But we fooled around later on and he ripped it open and put it on. At first he put it on the wrong way but then he fixed it and put it on the right way. I told him to not put it in cause I didn't want to have sex yet. He rubbed on me though. Can I still get pregnant since he put it on the wrong way at first but then later on fixed on? I'm getting kind of nervous.

Hi Anon,

Thanks for asking. If you did not actually have intercourse, there really is nothing to worry about, especially if he had a condom on while you were fooling around.

For pregnancy to occur, sperm needs to actually enter the vagina. And although pre-ejaculate can contain sperm, our page states that,

"Sperm is highly sensitive to temperature and moisture, and will eventually die outside the body "
