Conception date.

My LMP was Jan 26th lasting 4 days.. But when I went to my US at 21 weeks, the US EGA was 22 weeks 3 days.. Now if this is true I conceived Jan 30th, which was the day after my period ended. But I get my period every month, usually 30-32 cycle days. I had sex Jan. 13th and then everyday Jan 23rd through end of February. My question is, could I have gotten pregnant from my intercourse on the 13th and still blood and my baby is just small? Or is it possible I conceived a day after my period and the US is correct? Or is my baby just big?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

A woman gets pregnant after her LMP. She can get pregnant from having sex a day after her period if she ovulates early that month. Sperm can live up to 5 days in a woman's body.

As to sizes, it's only a couple of weeks in the time difference (of your question) so the size difference of your baby should not be significant.
Best,
Susan
