hi all, please help am going nuts.
i had my period on th 4th of April it was late by 2days due to stress, am on the pill and around that time i was diagnosed with a bladder infection, after my periods ended 4days later - i had sex with my partner and only realised after that the medication i took could have made my pill ineffective,i saw my gyne on the 13th and mentioned that i probably have not even ovulated yet but cannot be too sure as its too early to tell if i am pregnant - two weeks later i have this brownish discharge or what ever it is called for 5days and today im having these period like cramps which are scaring me cos they remind me of my 1st pregnancy a year ago when i missed my period and they started. i have not been taking any note of the same pains prior to this as i am monitoring everything that happens due to my fear of being pregnant. my next period is due in less than two weeks. please ease my worry as i do not want another baby so soon

Hi Marley,
I am assuming your missing your period from your regular schedule....if you are only a few days late, try another test in a few days. Sometimes we can miss a period for no apparent reason. Other reasons to miss periods could include changes in diet, stress, exercise, etc. These are all common denominators for missed periods.
Take another test in a couple days and see what the results are and keep us posted.

I took a pregnancy test on Friday nd it came back negative bt my periods still have nt come nd still worried, should i take another test to b sure

ok i am suppose to have my period from today or any day from now, since my last period was late i a bit offtrack with keeping up wiht my cycle correctly, but today i feel very nauseas and bloated and i feel some sort of cramping, i will get a pregnancy test done on saturday but i am hectically scared to do it but i need to know on the other, i know that if i am i will not be able to keep it even though i am strongly against it but i am not financially ready for a baby.

Well, you can give yourself some peace of mind if you have a 28 day cycle-- if this is the case, then you were not ovulating at the time-- correct?
Other than that, there is no faster way to learn if you were pregnant-- though it would be kind of cool if we could immediately know when we got pregnant.

Hi marley me,
Thanks for your question, if you were on antibiotics for your bladder infection then they may have made your birth control pills ineffective. Dark blood is usually a sign of old blood that may have been pooled and was just then being released by your body.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to tell whether or not you are pregnant, since your period isn't due for another two weeks. Although it may be hard, try to remain calm and wait for your next period-- if it is late then you can test for pregnancy.
