Hi,
I am 30 yrs old. Now I am planning to get pregnant but i am confused about my first day of period. my last period was started December 30.
Then February 3rd I got little red spot. Today February 5th still I did not get any bleeding. Is this normal?? How do I will calculate my ovulation date? Usually my cycles are around 35/36 days.
Can anyone help me to tell about this?
Is it risky to get pregnant at age 30?

Hi Sonia,
There is no increased risk with conceiving at 30 years old (that's actually a great age for many reasons!).

You may want to call your OB/GYN, depending on if it has been a year since your last exam. Your last menstrual period (LMP) was December 30th; a spot of blood in February would not be a menstrual period. It may be a good idea to get a "check up" (ask your doctor if this is appropriate) before you try to conceive (more for your peace of mind).
