Hi,

I'm sorry you are experiencing hot flashes. What have you tried to lessen the awful symptoms, and how long have you been experiencing them?

EmpowHer has an extensive section on Hot Flashes (just click on orange hyperlink), where you can read more information about hot flashes and what other women's experiences are with them.

To answer your question...unfortunately, hot flashes for some women can last for decades. Please write back and let us know what other questions you have, as we would love to help!
