Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. After a D & C, you should experience bleeding that is bright red. Since your hormones (from being pregnant), to not being pregnant anymore are imbalanced, it may take several months to see a regular period again. This is common. How long has it been since your abortion?
