Q:

How much stress or how little food eaten recently is needed to affect your period?

I have new pills for concentration, and either because of that or my period supposedly coming soon, I've had a decrease in appetite, eating like 1 meal a day, been less tired than usual at nights, but have been very moody and extremely sressed. My period is about 4-5 days late so far, and it's been really regular for months. I don't know if I should be worried of the obvious reason for a missed period.

Dark Angel,

The amount of food you eat isn't exactly what affects your period. Having a n extreme weight gain or weight loss in a short period of time can stop your period from coming. Stress, on the other hand, can certainly affect your period. Have you had unprotected sex last month?

If you are 4-5 days late please give it another couple of days or so. If you have not had unprotected sex then just wait for your period because it will either come or just be skipped this month.
