Q:

I am on an extended birth control Jolessa and recently had sex 15 days before the third month is up and I will be having a period. Could I be pregnant or am I just stressing myself out?

The real answer is you have to wait and see if you miss a period and then take a home pregnancy test (HPT). Time can only tell if you are pregnant or not. I usually tell people to wait at least 7-10 days after their regularly scheduled periods....this is for the stress factor. Sometimes stress will delay periods among other things.

I hope this helps. Please keep us posted.

Okay Thank you very much! I think I am over thinking everything because I naturally just do that in general but I have never missed a pill so I thought my chances will be much lower compared to someone who misses pills.
