Had sex day before period was due. (Due date was February 23rd). This is going on day 17 being late. --this is abnormal as my periods have been up to 5 days late. I do believe that I ovulated, had my typical symptoms, etc. I do have a hx of endometriosis & thyroid problems. Unprotected but boyfriend denies ejaculation. I took one test last week that came back negative & yesterday that looked negative to me. What are you thinking this could be? I did have a lot of stress around the time of my period being due. (A lot of things going on at work, I was emotional and found it very hard to concentrate, etc)

Hello Anonymous,

I am not here to judge, but to offer help.

Try to relax, because stressing out will only further delay the start of your period.

You can take an early response test. Test in the morning and use the urine when you wake up. It is concentrated and will give you the most accurate result.

Or, wait at least one week before you test.

Maryann

Hello Anonymous,

If you have a 28 to 30 days menstrual cycle, you were probably ovulating around February 23. Having unprotected intercourse during your fertile time, which is five days before ovulation and on the day of ovulation, leads to pregnancy.

Take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the urine when you wake up. It is concentrated from being in your bladder overnight.

Hello.. I am having irregular periods.. My periods due date was Feb 6th.. But I usually get 1 week to 10 days delayed periods.. I had sex on Feb 11th but still my periods didn't come.. I thought this was because of my irregular periods but still I am worried now because today the date is Feb 27th.. Should I be worried that I am pregnant?

Hello sweety1409,

Take a home pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the urine when you wake up and first use the bathroom.
