I had sex 3 days before my due date of periods.It's delayed & I took pregnancy test a week after i missed my period but the result was negative. But i am 8 days late now. I am suffering from thyroid & a lot of times my periods get irregular. Am confused.

I had unprotected sex a day before my period due date, the next day i experienced what I thought could have been my period but I am unsure. My periods are usually very heavy and painful for the first day and then the pain dies down but is still quite heavy. This time it was very light and appeared a brownish colour at times. I am unsure if I could be pregnant or when I should/can take a pregnancy test

Hey I am Neha! I had unprotected sex before 2 days due date of periods. As he came inside me so I had ipill before 12 hrs. I was supposed to have periods on 4th and till now I did not get my periods. I am having as such no symptoms of pregnancy, only had legs pain for 2 days after ipill intake. Do I need to worry or is there any chance of pregnancy.

I got my last period last may 11-may 16 and im expected to have my period june 11 or june 13 but until now june 18 still don't have my period... i have my sex last june 10... im not sure if that's the cause of my delayed period... i got my pregnancy test also june 17 and june 18 and its positive... what should i do?? im not yet ready... pls help me...

Even though it causes worry, a period that is 8 days late is not a concern in and of itself. Can you tell me when the first day of your last menstrual period began? What day were you expecting this period to begin? Are you taking any hormonal contraceptives (pill, ring, etc)?

Women's cycles can vary from month-to-month, and you said your cycle is irregular. Why are you concerned this time? Did you have unprotected sex recently?

Many reasons, besides pregnancy, can cause a late period, including medical conditions (thyroid) as well as medications. Are you using any medications as treatment for your thyroid?

A pregnancy test, taken once you have missed your period, is very accurate. If your period still has not started in another 7 days, you may want to take another home pregnancy test, but it is not necessary.
