I am espacially worried about the osteporose risk, which is already higher due to Hashimoto. I take 60µg Thyroxin substitute daily.
I train regularly (swimming), are non smoker since 20 years and have not taken any other hormones since I was 35. Until 35 I toke Diane 50 due to extreme pains and blood loss under the menstruation. I had the uterus removed 10 years ago, but the ovaries are still in the place where they belong to, thank god.
So if I want to relieve the symtproms (sleeplessness, mild depression, heat flashes every night) How can I take hormones and which ones? Maybe not as pills but locally?

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  We can not tell you what medication would be best for you.  This is something you will need to discuss with your doctor, it all depends on your medical history.

Best,

Daisy
