No herpes but thats what i experience too. it has ruined my life for 30 years. It is hard to know if i need to pee or it is just mucuous dripping down and making my vulva so wet my brain thimks im incontinent (which now wakes me alll night). Only positive is it seems to show high fertility - easy to use turkey baster and billings mehod to get pregnant first attempt. i did read somehing the othet day about cells outside the cervix producing mucous. A cervical erosion?

Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for your question. After having papsmears and the results are fine. Also, is important to do a urinalysis. The clitoris does not give off discharge. there are several potential causes of material accumulating on the clitoris that could be interpreted as discharge. The first is simply dead skin and other debris that can collect in places such as under the hood of skin on the clitoris. This is simply an issue of hygiene and can be cleared up by regularly washing the area. Another possibility is smegma. Smegma is a thick white secretion produced by certain skin glands that live in the skin around the clitoris. It can appear as a cheesy discharge and may have a mildly unpleasant odor.
It's best to see a specialist (OBGYN). And explain your symptoms.

Good day Ma'am.. I've been stressed worrying about my problem, my discharge has changed suddenly, I observed it when I was using different kind of soap to wash my genital area.. the next day i've been experiencing itch, and i feel uncomfortable.. my discharge has increased,it changed and so its odor.. but when I stopped using the other brand, and switched back to the soap I used to use in everyday.. the irritation went away, but still the discharge and the bad odor still there.. Am I having an infection?? I'm looking forward for your reply. God bless

Hi Jollygirt,
The irritation is definitely a reaction to the different brand of soap.
However, I am concerned that the increased vaginal discharge and odor may indicate an infection. Does the discharge look like cottage cheese?
A thick discharge that resembles cottage cheese, itching and odor are signs of a yeast infection. You should consider speaking with and scheduling an appointment with your gynecologist.
I would hesitate trying an over the counter treatment until you know for certain the cause of these symptoms.

Thank you Ma'am for your reply, my discharge color change to greenish and sometimes it seems like I peed because of the heavy discharge, sometimes when i have that discharge its color is whitish.. As far as I remember, I had have put my finger inside mine, because that time I was worried because my period was delayed, and my indicator if my period is coming is when my discharge change its smell, to fishy like smell.. I'm not also quite sure if my finger is dirty or clean that time, and that's it after that I used different brand of soap for washing.. I 'm really so worried :(

Please call your physician today. A vaginal discharge that is green in color and smells like fish indicates an infection. You must be seen, and treated. That is the best thing to do and will eliminate any worry.

i have been to many clinics done papsmears and the doctors say am fine but sometimes i just stand up and i find that i feel water just running into my underwear can that be runnings and when that water seattles there is an odor do u think something is wrong with me the doc at the clinic keep saying that am fine and some people have more discharge than some but i feel like something is wrong someone plz help me.
