Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about feeling nauseous every day.
When did this start? Was it after you started taking Cipralex?
Nausea is a very common side effect of Cipralex, which belongs to a
group of antidepressants called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
(SSRIs). These medicines act on the serotonin-system in the brain by
increasing the serotonin level. Disturbances in the serotonin-system are
considered an important factor in the development of depression and related
diseases.
One in 10 individuals report this side effect.
Nausea is a less commonly reported side effect of Klonopin, which is in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines. Its generic name, Clonazepam affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety. Klonopin is used to treat seizure disorders or panic disorder.
Anonymous, discuss this with your physician. You may not be able to tolerate these two drugs and need a different prescription.
