Its not a muscle. It just feels tight like someone is squeezing

Hi Anon

Thanks for your post!

We don't have any information from you (age, sex, health history, family history etc) so it's difficult to help you more deeply with your question.

Chest pain could be from an upper respiratory infection, an injury from working out or a heart condition.

It could also be stress related.

If you can rule out the first two, then it's a good idea to see a doctor as soon as possible to rule out any kind of heart disease. Some people get warning signs of possible heart issues (like a squeezing feeling that you are having) and ignore it. Don't ignore it - see your health care provider now. If it is nothing, then at least you know you are healthy and are advocating for your own health!

Will you keep us posted?
