I just recently had blood work done and my T3 free was high and so was the homocysteine. What does this mean?

Hi alrogers

Thanks for your post and welcome!

A high reading of T3 means that you may have a hyperthyroidism. You can read more about that here: http://www.empowher.com/condition/hyperthyroidism

Having a high homocysteine level generally means your amino acid counts are elevated and this is associated with certain heart diseases but is also linked to the thyroid.

What did your doctor tell you about these results?
