I stared my menstrual cycle and bled for the normal 5 days but it is 2 days later and I am bleeding again. ths has never happened to me before. What causes this?

Hello Anonymous,
Hormones regulate the menstrual cycle. Any imbalance leads to menstrual irregularities. Are you bleeding heavily or just spotting? Is the discharge brown or red, like a normal menstrual flow?

If the bleeding continues for three days or more, give your physician a call.
