if my husband gives me oral sex can he have any throat problrms sine i have hpv with a loe grade ?

See im married i got married at 14 i ended up cheating on my husband and i caught hpv . my doctor said i have hpv with a low grade i told my husband that i was diagnosed with it. we did have sex unprotected so i guess he now has it? if he also gave me oral sex will that cause any throat problems for him? should i wash my under wear seprated from every one elses clothes? can anyone else catch it from me from the eating utencills ? my doctor just told me to come back in 6 months for another pap and to rest can anyone help me with all these questions? im so worried i regret cheating on my husband and i have to try and get as much information so that i dont go crazy.

Hi Anonymous,

Approximately 1 million people have HPV. In essence, low grade HPV could even disappear on its own over time. As there are over 300+ strands of HPV, the best thing to do is follow up with your doctor. Some strands will turn into warts while other strands you would not even know you had rather than your OBGYN visit.

I cannot answer directly as there are too many strands to be specific. Talk to your doctor about risks with your husband and the best thing to do would bring him with you in order to have all your questions answered.
