injury my right side head,neck,face and shoulder ,ribs, lower back

got hit in the right side of my head,face,neck,shoulder and twist the low back very bad but now have swelling in the right side of my neck right by the hair line of my neck is this something i should worry about ? had a mri 2 dices are mess up in neck and 40% tare in shoulder. but am having bad headache and cannot sleep because of the pain

thanks i am on stronger medicate just was worry but i feel at easy now

Hi Hobbs4e,

Whenever there is recent trauma to your body you can expect some swelling to occur-- especially when it involves tearing in the shoulder and bulging discs. You may need some medication for the pain and headache.. as long as your doctor hasn't contraindicated taking Tylenol or Motrin, you can do that for the time being until you can get in touch with your doctor and s/he can prescribe something a little stronger if s/he thinks it is necessary.
