Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for asking this question that is commonly asked by many people.
There is no need to take a daily multivitamin if you are consuming a healthy and well balanced diet. Most healthy individuals get the recommended daily requirements of vitamins and minerals by diet alone.
However, if you have specific health issues or don't eat as well as you should, a daily multivitamin is for you.
Be aware of fat soluble vitamins, which include Vitamins A, D, E and K. Taken in excess, these vitamins can cause serious health issues including death. Water- soluble vitamins, such as Vitamin B complex and Vitamin C, are excreted in urine and do not get stored in the body.
