Im 17 years old. I had my period about May 31st, My boyfriend and i were acting sexual on June 11 (which i believe was near the time i was most ovulated) he insert himself in me for a couple seconds but did not came inside me. He mentioned "pre-came" so i took next choice within 10 hours just to be sure. We did the same thing on june 21 and 23, only for a couple seconds and did not come close to going inside me. I decided to take another next choice just in case but the following day (sunday) i experienced bleeding as if from a period. I heard it was common for bleeding within a week after taking the pill but i also heard of implantation bleeding and im not sure if it might be that or an early period even though i had it about 2 and a half weeks ago. Is it possible i might be pregenant or is this normal?

I had sex with a guy 2 days after my period ended. He came inside me and I freaked out and bought the next choice pill the next morning. A week goes by and I'm bleeding like I started my period again. Are these just side effects of the pill?

Me and my boyfriend had sex on July 4th and the condom broke. I went to get a pregnancy pill and took it within an hour after all this took place. I started bleeding a little the 14th and didn't stop till the 15..it wasn't heavy at all so I'm not sure if it was my period or if I'm pregnant..I've also been having head aches and at times my belly hurts. My breasts are a little sore but I have no idea what to do. Very scared. Please help.

Thanks very much for the reply... I have been spotting since yesterday. I don't know if it's normal and just a side effect of the pill. Or maybe a sign of pregnancy.

Hi Beatty,

I would say that your delayed period is due to Next Choice. You will have irregularity for at least two cycles after taking Next Choice so if your pregnancy tests are negative, you should be safe. If you are still concerned, you should make an appointment with your doctor. Good luck.

I'm worried.
I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke. I immediately took the next choice pill as directed. A week after, I had a heavy bleeding which felt like a period. It has been more than a month now and I have still not got my period. My breasts very sore and I have been experiencing daily abdominal pains. I took several pregnancy tests and it says negative. I am very worried now because Of my delayed period and symptoms. Can I be pregnant?
I would appreciate it if someone would answer me please.

An hour later I took Next Choice emergency contraception and on the 28th I got bleeding like if it was my normal period. Today is December the 2nd, my bleeding stoped and Im very sore in my breasts. Yes, it is normal. Your period could come early, on time, or late. Bleeding is a good thing! I would say 99% your NOT pregnant.
