My doc said there isnt a heart beat and I have taken pills to try and make the baby pass but it's not working. How long is it ok to have a dead fetus inside you?

I had severe cramping which I have never experienced with any normal cycle i was extremely tired, and my nipples were overly sensitrive then I had blood clots. I was and still have emotional mood swings. I still have cramping and feel emotional unsound
