Q:

Is it possible for the hymen to be torn by a penis with without penetration? Will the lady still be regarded as a virgin since there was no intercourse?

My boyfriend was rubbing his penis against my vagina when this happened and we both did not notice till i went to take a bath and saw the hymen drop and my panty was later stained with blood. He said he did not have sex with me.

It is possible for a woman's hymen to be torn by any type of activity near that vagina, and can include your boyfriend's penis rubbing it, or finger touching it. Hymens can also be torn by riding a bicycle, playing sports, or just every-day activities.

Most people define "virgin" as a man or woman who has not had intercourse, but it depends what your definition is. Genital-to-genital contact with no penetration (or just inserting the tip)...is that still a virgin in your definition?
