When food, exercise, and insulin are not balanced, blood sugar levels rise. Stress, illness, a diet high in carbs (among other things) can play a role in causing high blood sugar. For diabetics, not enough insulin or oral diabetes medication can be the cause. Be sure to check in with your doctor to discuss your results.
