Guide

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.  I'd love to give you some helpful information on the matter.

First I'd like to explain why there is still a possibility of pregnancy even after having your tubes tied.  During tubal ligation the tubes a damaged.  When they heal the tissue blocks to tubes.  Sometimes however they do not fully seal allowing for a small hole where sperm can pass through to the uterus.  These small holes can also open further over time.

With this being said, I don't think you should rule out pregnancy until you have taken a test and gotten a negative result.

Once you rule out that possibility, there are other reasons for your irregular period we can discuss.
