Left rib pain

Hi, I'm not sure if this question went thru before but I will ask again to make sure. When I lay down at night in my back my left rib starts pulsating right away. Other than that it doesn't hurt when I stand barely. My knee hurts and left leg on right side a little. Could this be related. What is the rib pain from?

Hi Bathsheva

Thanks for your post.

There can be several reasons for rib pain - one is some kind of injury for a fall, accident, or even from a heavy workout (if I haven't done power yoga in a while and do a hard session I have experienced rib pain).

Any kind of lung inflammation can also cause this, as can muscle injuries.

I'm not sure if your other pain is associated with it; you may need to see your doctor.
