I'm very nervous. A couple days ago I took my pill and realized that I was a full day behind on my pack (meaning that at some point the week before I completely missed one of my pills). I took 2 on that day to be safe (hoping that perhaps the day before was the day I missed... but I honestly can't remember). If I hadn't missed it the day before, and had actually missed it earlier in the week, how much does that increase my chances of pregnancy? I'm so worried!

I missed the first day of my second week of this months pack (YAZ), and am Also freaking out, I have been feeling extremely exhausted and going to the bathroom all the time, I thought it was all in my head, but the other night my husband commented on how much larger my boobs look... I'm starting to panic, based on my calendar I was in my fertile week (which due to my cm I knew i was) but it was not my most fertile day. we did twice that week, so now I'm playing the waiting game... and really hoping it all works out.. we aren't trying to get pregnant, but would be overjoyed if it is the case.... any thoughts on when I missed the pill and my likelihood of being preggo?

Hi Anon,
Thanks for asking. Missing a pill can be a scary thing. If you are sexually active, missing a pill is never a good thing. However, without knowing all of the details, it's hard to say what the chances of you being pregnant are. You can use the calendar method to estimate how fertile you were when you may have missed the pill.

Thanks for the response. The pill I missed was either in the first week of the pack, or in the first 2 days of the second week of the pack. Hopefully that's too early in my monthly cycle to allow my body to ovulate?
