because Ive caught him emailing men only for get togethers, and he seems to only get excited if he watches that sort of stuff on his dvds. I really feel he is gay. Will I ever get past this?

Only you can answer that question. What can you deal with in your relationship? Many people can live in open relationships and be fine with it while others prefer monogamy. He was honest with about his feelings towards men and to give you some insight, I have many gay male friends and it is not uncommon for the "hook up". This is almost a norm.
So the real question is....can you handle the fact that he may venture off?
