My girlfriend and I had protected sex Oct 2nd. The condom didn't break but we both felt like something was wrong cause cum was on the outside of the condom and she didn't cum. We assumed the worst, and she had forgotten to take birth control for the past 2 days, so we wanted to be safe and we got plan b. She was supposed to get her period Oct 9th but she only received spotting from Oct 8th - Oct 14th as well as times were there was nothing, but never a period. Its now 9 days overdue when she was supposed to get her period. She's claiming she is nauseous, gets cramps, has to pee a lot. We are both worried. Is she pregnant?

Hello Anon
Thank you for writing.
Her own vaginal fluids (present whether an orgasm happens or not) may have been on the condom.
October 18, 2017 - 4:30amEmergency contraception is very reliable (up to 95%) so the risk is very low.
EC has side effects of spotting and delayed periods.
A pregnancy test would be accurate by now. One should be taken to rule it out.
Best,
Susan
