My last period was September 8-13th. I had UNPROTECTED sex September 26. Had PROTECTED sex October 1st and 5th. My period was expected October 8th. Took two pregnancy tests. The week it was late and last week, both negative. Can I be pregnant ?

Well those are great news if that is what you wanted! It still have not gotten mine. It is nearly impossible not to stress about it and think about it all day! I do not want a baby right now! Knowing that you got your lifts my hopes up a little! Since I was also expecting my period on Oct. 8

Did you do anything differently to get your period....

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for your question.

If you have a 28 to 30 day menstrual cycle, there was a good chance that you were ovulating around September 26. Unprotected sexual intercourse during the five days before ovulation through to the day of ovulation most often will lead to pregnancy.

Anonymous, take one more pregnancy test. Use a name brand product, check the expiration date, and test using the first urine of the morning.

If you still get a negative result, consider talking with your gynecologist or primary care physician.

Regards,
Maryann
