My son was diagnosed with Hep C and he has a very advanced case. He has lost a lot of weight and looks very Ill. As a Mother, what can I do to help him? and can this illness lead to death?

Death from Hepatitis C is very uncommon. He should be on medications and making sure that he continues to use his medication and of course emotional support is important. Let me know if you have further questions. The above link should certainly provide you with a lot of information.
