I took both pills in one dosage, is this dangerous or less effective? Also, what are the usual side effects after taking the pills and how soon after? I took the pills about a 17 days ago and now I'm spotting ( not heavy but blood is present). Could this be a side effect?

hi i want to ask i had sex with my bf last night 12am and i took birth control pill for 4days (thats my first time took the pill) and he didnt use condom. so took postinor2 (2pills) and the problem is i left my birth control pill in his house and i only can take it on this friday is it possible i can get pregnant by not taking the birth control pill after taking emergency pill ? help me pleaseee im not ready to get pregnant

If I understand correctly, you just started taking birth control pills and had taken an active pill for four consecutive days. Did you take an active pill on December 6, the day you had intercourse?
If you took a pill that day, why did you take Postinor 2?
Postinor 2 contains a high dose of the same hormone found in most birth control pills. By taking control pills and Postinor 2, you overdosed and potentially caused a serious hormone imbalance.
Anonymous, call your gynecologist today and follow any recommendations. I suggest you not take any more pills until you speak with your doctor and pick up the pills from your boyfriend's house.

In October, my period came on the 4th. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 27th and I took Pillanor2 less than 24 hours later. My period was two days late (started on the 6th of November), short (3 days instead of 5 days). I've been having pains in my breasts and they are swollen too. Am I pregnant? Tried pregnancy test strips about two weeks ago and they were negative. I also feel my stomach is getting bigger and I'm very hungry in the mornings too which is very much unlike me.

Hi my period came 2weeks early in sept. (Aug 28)and 2weeks late in sept(oct 4) I had sex on oct 16 and d condom broke so I used 2tab of postinor 2 11hrs after and d 3rd tab after 12hrs.I strtd bleeding the next day and its bin 5days now..am havin headche feelin nauseaous and having backache and my nipples are erect pls does this mean am pregnant?

Vaginal bleeding after taking Postinor 2 means the pill worked and you are not pregnant.

You overdosed on the drug... You're supossed to take just 2 pills and not 3. The bleeding and nauseating feeling are probably the side effects of the drug however to be on the safe side go and do a blood test to find out if you're pregnant as strips are not 100% accurate... Xo

hi Suzan ...days before i was using calender method to control pregnancy but on 14th october i had unprotective sex and it was the 11th day of my calender (dangerous day and possible to get pregnancy)then in took p2 within 24hours then by 16th october i started bleeding as not full period up to 18th october,what i want to know is can i start to account days of my calender from 16th so as to know dangerous days in my calender?or i have to ignore bleeding time as the side effect of p2 and follow my calender? as

Dear Susan, im not sure if i should take p2 because first of all my period started at 23oct and ends at 29oct, i had intercourse on 30oct without protection but he did not ejaculate inside me as he withdraws even before he feels that he is going to ejaculate .
