Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Protected intercourse will prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Using condoms from start to finish, or taking an oral contraceptive will offer protection.

You are at risk if you have unprotected intercourse five days before or on the day of ovulation

Ovulation occurs about 14 days after the end of your last period. Begin counting from the day this period ends. Count to day 14. You should avoid having intercourse five days before that date and no sex on that day.
