Pls can postinor2 still be effective after a week?

Postinor 2 is an oral emergency contraceptive.  It helps to prevent pregnancy within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex.  Anytime more than the 3 days, the effectiveness decreases more every day.  If you are considering still taking it, please first consult with your doctor.
