Back again. Ever since last month, I have been nauseated to no end. I had dry sex for a good while (everyone remained clothed) and there was some fingering. The guy said he never ejaculated so I guess maybe we would be dealing with precum. He never touched his penis but I'm scared to death that it somehow leaked through his boxers and gym shorts and he touched it with his finger and fingered me. This may sound silly, but I wouldn't be scared if I wasn't so nauseated. If it helps, it happened June 17th and I have had my period since the incident.

But I figured if he only precame in his shorts his boxers would have at least dried it up before he was able to come in contact with it? We did this the day after my period ended. I have been tired and nauseous lately. But no matter what, the fact that I had my period makes me be in the clear right?

Hello Mkbb,
Let me begin by saying that knowledge is empowering. The more you know about something, the more you understand and the less you will fear.
Sperm can live outside of the body for only about 20 minutes to an hour, depending on how exposed the semen is to the air and other environmental factors.
Let's play out the scenario that you describe. If the sperm gets to your vagina, it will survive for just a few hours, due to exposure to acidic vaginal secretions. However, around the time of ovulation, a woman's body produces a particular cervical mucus that creates a protective, hospitable;e environment for sperm.
Keep in mind, that whenever sperm comes in contact with the vagina, there is a potential risk for pregnancy.

I'm so sorry to bother you again, but if I can ask one more question, I can ease my mind. I felt fine after reading your response but then the what ifs sat in and I became nauseous again. Please answer this, and I will leave you alone because I'm sure there are more important questions than mine. Say, the guy reached down his pants and touched his penis and got precum on his hand. Would it survive when he pulled his hand out of his pants, then slid them down mine and fingering me? I read that dicidual bleeding can happen in early pregnancy and very much resemble a period. I know by common sense I'm most likely not pregnant but I'm driving myself insane! I'm not doing sexual activity again because I'm clearly not ready for it. It's just I have so many symptoms that resemble pregnancy and I'm scared.

Also, I've read sperm can't permeate through clothing, so even if he touches his penis from the outside of his pants it wouldn't matter right? Because the sperm couldn't survive getting through his pants in the first place?

The only problem I'm really not being able to get over is if pre cum got through his gym shorts, he touched it, then finger me? I know I'm probably over reacting, as this was my first encounter. This has scared me enough that I'm not doing it again for awhile. Im so sorry but if I know for sure there's zero chance, I can move on with my life! Lol

Hello Mkbb,
Outercourse or dry humping while fully clothed do not lead to pregnancy.
Some women experience spotting during their pregnancy. Spotting is an occasional or one time scanty vaginal bleeding. The total amount may be the size of a quarter noted on your underpants.
Vaginal menstrual flow is the shedding of the lining of the uterus. This only happens when you are not pregnant. The lining of the uterus stays intact to sustain the developing fetus during pregnancy. If you have vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, this indicates a miscarriage.

and just to be sure, it is very unlikely this could lead to pregnancy?

Thank you. I just heard you can bleed throughout pregnancy so I just wanted to make sure. People told me that it's highly unlikely this could even result in pregnancy. Thank you for your time, Maryann!
