SGPT AND GGPT

I did a blood test from 2 weeks ago and the result was regarding the sgpt and ggt (note that i drinked alcohol about 4 liters in 5 days and then i did the test after 4 days)
SGPT: 84
GGT: 67
The doctor said i should go on a diet and repeat the test again after 5 days i did that and my sgpt was 111 and the ggt was 61, also i did for Hepatit it was negative
he asked me for an ultra sound for liver
the result was i have a small calcification in liver from an old infection but its not serious

and kidney ext... are normal..
how i can lower my sgpt in a fast way is there any medicine to take to lower it because i need to pass this test for the embassy

Hi Jackson,

Thank you for your question. Have you talked to your doctor about trying to reduce your levels? Your levels are high due to your liver issues and any prescriptions would have to be suggested by your treating physician. If you are not positive for hepatitis, there has to be another reason for the calcification but we cannot diagnose you on here. Keep us posted on what your doctor tells you.
