I have been told by two women on this site that I can not possibly be pregnant, but different reasons. I possibly had a small amount of semen on my hands, and wiped after using the bathroom. CAN I GET PREGNANT FROM THIS!? I'm terrified and stressed to no end. Can anyone offer any proof or reasoning to help calm my nerves, I was on my period when it happened, I don't want to be stressing the entire next month until my period comes around again!!

Hi anxietyortruth,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  As previously posted, Sperm can not swim through clothes and semen would dry out of the body, for that reasons sperm would die. In order for a woman to get pregnant, she would have to be ovulating. A woman usually ovulates 11-21 days from the first day of your period.  You should not have anything to be concerned about.

Please read the resources previously provided, they will help to understand a little more.

Best,

Daisy
