Hi Hrehan

Having sex during a woman's period is generally safe but there is no 100% safe time in a woman's cycle. Some women ovulate a lot earlier than the average 14 date of a cycle so having unprotected sex in the days right after a period is not safe, especially since sperm can stay alive in a woman's body for up to 5 days. If you are looking to avoid pregnancy, your best bet is to use birth control each and every time you have sex, regardless of the time of the month, especially if your cycle is in any way irregular.
