I missed one pill Thursday night, in my third week, but made it up as soon as i woke up on Friday morning. I also took my pill about 3 hours late on Saturday night, which would have been my last active pill. My boyfriend and I had sex soon after. We used a condom, but it broke. He had already went shortly before we had sex. He went inside of me not knowing the condom broke, but he barely went. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Hi Susan!
My name is Lauren
I have been taking my pill Vestura (it's a combination pill) for about 6 months now. So my boyfriend and I decided to have sex and we used a condom and I had taken my pill without any error. About 6 days later I fell asleep and forgot to take my pill. The next morning I took it immediately and then took the other pill for that day at the correct time. Could I get pregnant?
Thanks!

Hello I've been on birth control for about a month and I missed the second to last pill in the pack. However I didn't take it the next day and me and my boyfriend had sex where he came in me the next day. What are my chances of being pregnant?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on Monday night. I lost my last active pill on wednesday night and took my first placebo pill instead. Should I take plan b? What are my chances of getting pregnant from Monday night?

I've been on birth control for well over a year, and I always take my pill in the evening. My bf and I had sex late Monday night, and I thought I had taken my pill already. So I went to get my pill out for Tuesday night when I realized that I didn't take it last night (Monday). I read my little packet that came with my pills and I did what it said and took 2 pills to make up for it. Should I be okay or should I worry?

I take my birth control pills at the same time every night but I forgot to take Saturday's pill and had unprotected sex on Saturday night. I woke up and took Saturday's pill on Sunday morning and took Sunday's pill at the regular time. I have heard the pill only protects your for 24 hours which is why you take it at the same time everyday, does this mean I could get pregnant? Should I take plan B? Thank you!!

Hello Anonymous,

Do not take Plan B. You did the right thing by taking 2 pills to make up for the missed doses. You should not be at risk for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
