I missed one pill Thursday night, in my third week, but made it up as soon as i woke up on Friday morning. I also took my pill about 3 hours late on Saturday night, which would have been my last active pill. My boyfriend and I had sex soon after. We used a condom, but it broke. He had already went shortly before we had sex. He went inside of me not knowing the condom broke, but he barely went. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Hello, I've been on birth control for 3 months now on Sunday I missed my pill but doubled up Monday although it was an hour later. I had unprotected sex this morning and my bf came in me... Should I be worried can I be pregnant? I take the pill everyday around the same time.

Hi, I missed my pills for 2 days but I already took the instruction on what to do if you missed two pills. I took 2 pills as soon as I remember the took two pills again on the time I'm usually taking my pills. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant bec I missed 2 pills? Thank you for the answer. I just wanna calm myself.

I am iny 3rd week. I had unprotected sex yesterday. He finished in me. I stopped the pill today to start a week early for vacation. Am I at risk, should I not stop the pill today?

When I went to take my pill on Wednesday, which was the last pill of week 3, I noticed I didn't take it the day before, so I took two pills on Wednesday. On Thursday I started the placebo pills and also got my period. Then on Friday had unprotected sex. I take the birth control pill regularly between 11pm and midnight, and I've been on it for 10 months now. It's strange I got my period during the first placebo pill day, this never happened before, I always get my period the 2nd or 3rd day of placebo pills.
Does it mean I ovulated and could get pragnant because I missed one pill 2 days before I started the placebo pills?

I missed 3 pills this month at different times. I am travelling so the time changes and long flights had me really messed up. My boyfriend is with me so we have intercourse. I take the last pill in my packet today and start a new box tomorrow but i have had no period yet. It should've started 3-4 days ago. What are my chances of being pregnant if i miss 1 pill, not more consecutively?

Guide (reply to Anonymous)

Hello Anonymous,

Your period could be late because of fluctuations in hormone levels caused by missed pills, traveling through different time zones and stress associated with long flights.

Consider not starting a new pack until you get your period and use condoms as an alternate.

Regards,
Maryann
