I'm getting migraines at least once a week, if not more. Some are sinus headaches that turn into migraines & some are just all out migraines. i'm going to see the dr. 09/10 - i'm looking forward to finding out what's wrong. a few year's ago i had them & they found a cyst & I had surgery to have it removed. they said it could come back, but highly unlikely. i DO not want surgery again!!

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER.
I'm sorry you're having to deal with migraines. It can be horribly painful and debilitating, I know. Here is an article about some alternative treatments suggested by a doctor the site has worked with.

There are also other things you can do to try and help alleviate triggering migraine:

You also can visit the EmpowHER Migraine page for more articles.
Good luck and let us know how your appointment goes.
