My wife had to got the hospital this past week n they had her take urine sample what would they test for cuz Im hoping they did a pregnency test cuz my wife's period is off by a few days now n I'm getting kinda worried if I have a son/daughter on the way cuz she missed one day on her pill n we had sex the next day after she took two pills could missing one day have thrown her cycle off or could she be pregnant she has taken two pregnency tests one says negative n one said positive i don't knw what to cuz I stil have a year left in high school n I can't afford for our parents to find out if she is pregnant what options do I have if we decide not to keep it??????

My mistake they said nothing about her being pregnant at all so what would tht mean?????

Hi Mullins505,
Most likely if the hospital test was positive, she might be pregnant. She will need to see her OBGYN, to confirm if she is.

Okay my wife has taken 5 and 2 came up positive n 3 came up negetive wat do we do now n the hospital did say she was but her period still isn't here??????

She will need to take a home pregnancy test or see a doctor to know if she is pregnant. Other conditions like Endometriosis, Ovarian, cyst and many other can cause changes to a woman's cycle.

Well she went to the hospital for falling out of her brother truck while in Denver n went to a hospital there would tht test have been to make sure she wasn't pregnant cus if so they did say anything about her being pregnant but yet her period is off by a few days what could cause this????

Welcome to EmpowHER. Depending what she went to the hospital for. Most doctors and hospital perform a urine test, to check for pregnancy and any sign of Infection in the urine. She will need to see a doctor, to know if indeed she is pregnant. Anytime you have unprotected sex, your chances of pregnancy are higher. If she is pregnant, the options on not keeping the baby is something she will have to decide herself and speak to her doctor about.
