Thanks for the immediate response again.. My friends who's also having irregular period told me about pills that she's also taking like yours. I'm afraid to gain more weight by taking it.

I might just visit also a physician again to know whether what medicine should I take.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Acidreighn03,
Thank you for your question. You will have to go and see a physician in order to find out why you are experiencing irregular periods. I, myself, had irregular periods for many many years and was placed on birth control for about 5 years to regulate my period. I took myself off the pill about 10 years ago and remain having a regular period.

As every woman is different, seeking a physicians opinion about your irregular periods will help figure out if there is an issue. I hope this helps. Please keep us posted on what your physician tells you.

I have irregular period since I was 18yrs old.. The longest is 5 mos. gap compared in a regular monthly period. Actually I consulted an OB already and she told me to come back when I turn 23 and still have this irregular menstrual period, but I haven't visited him yet again. Sometimes I suffer with some aches in my lower abdomen for 3 days but no blood flows out. I just want to know how to normalize my cycle. And does iron supplement help?

Hi Acidreighn

You haven't given much information, and there are an awful lot of variables. How old are you? How is your health? Is this a new issue? These are just a few of the questions I have.

Ultimately, if you are irregular and want to do something about it you need to see a health care provider to diagnose why you are irregular and then you can discuss how best to deal with it.

If you'd like to discuss it further, please give us a little more detail so we can direct you to some resources. Thanks for writing.
