What if I had taken postinor 2 the morning after I had unprotected sex and I had unprotected sex again the following night, would it be safe to retake another dose of the postinor 2 or is it ok because the first dose is still active in my system

Hi Ms curious,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  According to some experts. You should only use POSTINOR-2 in emergencies and not as a regular method of contraception. If POSTINOR-2 is used more than once in a menstrual cycle it is more likely to upset your menstrual cycle.

POSTINOR-2 does not work as well as regular methods of contraception.  You will need to discuss with your doctor about retaking it again.
