Q:

Why am I always in pain?

I feel as though I'm always in pain, I get headaches almost every day, and underneath my left rib cage I sometimes get a stabbing pain that lasts for a few hours...today it feels more like a pulsing. Also a sore/stabbing pain under both my armpits daily.
Tonight I had a horrible stabbing pain in my left ear down into my neck where my pulse is on the left side.
I don't know if any of these are connected but I am in so much pain all day and I have no insurance so I can't get medical care unless it's a huge medical emergency.

Hi Anonymous,
I am sorry that you are experiencing so much pain. Going to see a physician may be helpful although I understand that you do not have insurance, the reality is, you can pay $5.00 per month towards your medical bill, regardless of the amount and it will not reflect on your credit if that is an issue.

I don't want to try to assume a possible diagnosis for you as I am not a physician but chronic pain in different areas of the body is commonly associated with fibromyalgia. You can find more information on our site here https://www.empowher.com/condition/fibromyalgia.

I hope this information helps although I think seeking physicians assistance should be essential.

Please keep us updated.
