Q:

Why do I have no Libido at a young age?

I am a 21 year old mother. I had a fairly high sex drive until I had my daughter three years ago. Since then I have had little to no libido whatsoever. I have sex with my partner because it is important for me that he feels desired and sated, however I never want to and I tend to let it end as quickly as possible. There is no pain or discomfort really, also no vaginal dryness. It seems like my body is functioning but my brain is not. I would like to know why it is that I am unable to feel "turned on" as well as any natural remedies that will help me.

Hi Anonymous,

Welcome to Empowher and thank you for your question. Women's libido's are completely different then men's....we are wired differently. We tend to need an emotional attachment to our partner in order to have that great sex life plus we have to be comfortable with our bodies too as we are always faced with competition.
