Anne:
I would say, speak to your parents. Speak to your parents about this. My family was the one that brought it up to me and it was, it was just like, “What’s wrong with you? Let us know about this, let’s deal with this.” Definitely speak to your parents or your friends, your close friends, they are the ones that are going to like bring light to the fact that it’s fine, don’t be embarrassed about it.

My niece suffers from hyperhidrosis. It's a pretty scary thing to have when you're a 13-year old cheerleader. She deals with it as best as she can but just last night we were shopping and she was wearing flats, the poor thing had to ask me to go home because her feet were sweating a lot and it was getting hard to walk. I feel for her because something that gets very little recognition can really interrupt a teenagers life. She is constantly cleaning her hands and feet. Showers and changes more than she should because she feels "dirty".
I really would've appreciated if Anne had mentioned how she controls it, if she does. I've read all the possible treatments and even surgery but I'd like to know someone with personal experience with this.
